Walford returns to the Tithe Barn with a new collection
of unique hand-made contemporary tribal rugs.
From award-winning intricate sumakh rugs to simple
kilims, plus some extraordinary hand-knotted 'pictures
for the floor', this collection tempts with texture,
colour and design and demonstrates the skill and artistry
of the weavers. All the rugs and carpets in
the exhibition are for sale together with a fascinating
collection of artefacts, textiles (including an abundance
of scarves and wraps in wonderful colours), ceramics
and jewellery from around the world.
The
Exhibition is open 10am to 5pm
Wednesday
to Friday (until the end of August)
